About the event

Effective and enabling leadership amongst managers is a profoundly important part of delivering good public services.

Looking ahead, the real challenge for leaders is managing public sector reform. Hard decisions are having to be made. A faltering economic recovery, ageing population, ambitious integration programmes and increasing demand on services are all set against the backdrop of ongoing austerity measures from the centre. The need for innovative, inspirational leadership is at a premium.

Why you should attend

Building on the huge success of last year this training and development event will provide aspiring managers across Scotland with a unique opportunity to learn directly from some of Scotland and the UK’s outstanding leaders and managers.

Speakers from business, academia, sport and politics (elected and executive) will convene to exchange ideas and insights on what constitutes effective leadership.

Delegates will also take part in workshop sessions led by some of Scotland’s leading skills exponents.

This event is CPD accredited.
